What are the possiblities in this fair and whimsical city of Portland, Oregon?
I'm packing up my Tacoma and heading to downtown PDX on August 14, 2006. Things have finally fallen into place for me to get out of here with a couple thousand dollars and start over again in a much cooler place. If anybody has any job possibilities or housing ideas, please let me know!!
I've finally made my new personal website...
[link]

New Model Mayhem site...
[link]

Also I'm on MySpace now...
[link]

And for any females interested in dating me, lol (I'm VERY single at the moment)....
[link]

Model Search
I've also got a new Lumix FZ20 digital camera on the way! So I'm back in the game. Any models in S. Cal. interested in working with me, please drop me a line. I want to move away from the 'posed' thing and into very sexy, subtle, artsy, atmospheric, smokey, dreamy, surreal, un-posed, more natural photographs with weird angles and strange lighting.
Drill winds through the silent failings
Clasp gears through with crimson tears
Until the trailing roses swell
And fortune claims another trail
Another tale too long but fearsome
Another snowfall shields roses
Silent failings crash more than fissures
Silent failings wend away no more......
I was actually smack dab in the middle of a tornado yesterday, believe it or not. I was sitting at my computer when the wind and rain started getting stronger and stronger, then things started to fly by out the window. It lasted about 30 seconds and wasn't a huge midwest kinda twister, thankfully.  Living in so. cal. all my life I've never seen a 90mph wind before, but now I have. Anyway, I survived, there's only some fallen fences in the backyard as damage. The cats survived but were a wee bit freaked for a while.

I know I have to worry about fires and earthquakes, but now twisters....... So. cal is getting more and more dangerous by the day......

Just a tech note, new computer for me

Fri Jan 14, 2005, 1:03 AM
I've made a huge breakthrough in my struggle with my computer situation. I've now assembled my own machine and I got it running tonight. (After many, many hours of frustration--the brand new power supply turned out to be bad, but i figured it out finally) It's got an Athlon XP 2200+ processor, 512mb RAM, and an ATI 64MB video card. It's running fast and strong on Windows XP.

The great thing, though, is that I can upgrade it when I get the money. I can get to XP 3000+, 1GB ram, and 256MB AGP 8x video card for approx. $320!! That's incredible....

Working on my photos should be a hell'uv a lot easier now. Ok, that's all....

Not Posting 'til After New Years

Wed Dec 22, 2004, 3:07 PM
I won't be posting until after New Year's I think, I've just got a crazy amount of stuff to take care of. Xmas is really an evil force...... Plus I'm moving (within the house) and I have to get two rooms ready to rent out. But hopefully I'm gonna make a big push to start posting more after New Years....  If anyone's looking for a roommate situation in Temecula, CA, let me know.

Arrrrrggggggggghhhhhhh!!!1

Sun Dec 19, 2004, 11:23 PM
wow, i'm so frustrated. it's a long story but basically i have a really expensive laptop that's busted and i just got a replacement one off ebay. same model so I could use the hard drive and memory that i already have. Well the new one works, but if you try to do anything processor intensive it just shuts down, no warning. Of course, that's what I want it for, to work on huge photos and 3D files.

arrrrggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

oh, the battery doesn't charge, either

Now I have 2 dead laptops, 1 crippled laptop, 1 700mhz working desktop, but it's slow and doesn't have a video card, and 1 not working 700mhz desktop

arrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

i just want one good computer that works that does what i want it to do, but i can never get there.

Also, why is the prefix 'My' put in front of everything on the computer now???? it makes MY fucking head hurt! just bend down and be thankful that the founders of DA didn't name it 'My DeviantArt'

Ok, sorry, just venting........

I have itunes and it will do it, but only if you keep the songs in the folder it want's you to keep them in (needless to say, I don't want to keep them in that folder) Any ideas???? thanks in advance!

I bought a huge '88 Suburban yesterday, for $3000. I'm trying to start a business as an eBay Trading Assistant, so I need cargo room for pick-ups. Plus I want to get a travel trailer so I need towing capacity. And I also want to go camping and be able to get away from everything. But I'm still having LOTS of doubts. I've never had a truck before. How will I pay for the gas??? Why in the hell did I get a lifted one??? Will all environmentalists and left-of-center people hate me now?

Someone please tell me I did the right thing!?

Here's a pic of the Blue Beastie [link]

A Most Series of Events Unfortunate...

In the past year and a half I've:

~Lost the awesome house I was renting in the cool North Park area of San Diego
~Lost an incredible young lady through my own cowardice and hesitation
~Lost my $80,000 a year graphic design/art director job
~Haven't been able to get any other job except for some bizarre and short-lived temp assignments (I'm over qualified for everything I apply too and I can't get to LA or SF or SD where there might be better jobs)
~Been sick for two months with severe pneumonia
~Had to file bankruptcy
~Had to move to my Mom's house in Temecula, CA ( I don't like Temecula, it's too conservative, suburban, dusty, and hot) (It's not good for the ego to have to move back in with your Mom)
~Lost my Acura RSX - currently drive a 93 altima that can't go more than a few miles and is generally falling apart
~Had to sell almost everything I owned on eBay
~Lost contact with most of my friends
~Haven't dated or made any new friends since I've been in Temecula

Hmmmm.... that's pretty wild. Well, I'm doing better. I've survived.  I've drasticaly simplifed my life. I'm slowly but surely figuring out how to make money on my own. I've been eating much better and losing weight. My Mom's moving to her boyfriends house so I'll have this house to myself. I should be getting a late-model van soon (will help with making money). I've decided to get back on DA and that's making me feel a lot better.

(warning: when the wheels come off things can get out of control real fast)

Ok, that's all, just wanted to get that off my chest. That's why I  haven't been around.

Many photographs of Lady Morgana will be arriving shortly....
I will be back soon. I've been going through a family crisis, amongst other things. My sister is pregnant with twins and she's been horribly ill... in and out of the hospital for several months. It's been quite terrible, but it looks like she finally may have turned the corner and be getting healthier in this last week. (She is suffering from a severe case of Hyperemesis, plus several complications, for the medically inclined).

She already has three beautiful kids, so I've been doing a lot of babysitting in Temecula, CA *smile*

Their is good news on the artistic front... Morgana [link] is coming at the end of February to do a lot of shoots with me. So I should have a huge amount of new work in a couple of weeks. And judging from what I know about our beautiful Lady of Darkness, they should be some incredible photos.......

So thanks to everyone who has sent notes, made favorites and comments, etc. It means an incredible amount to me, to have people respect my work. And I apologize for not being very responsive, it's just been too muy loco....
